01 Booking & appointments
How do I book mobile detailing?
Use the booking page and choose the service that best matches your vehicle. Send your vehicle type, location, contact info, and what you want done. We follow up if anything needs to be confirmed before the appointment.
How long does a detail take?
Timing depends on vehicle size, condition, and service type. A lighter wash or refresh is faster. A full interior, full exterior, pet hair, stains, odor concerns, or ceramic coating can take longer.
What happens if it rains?
Weather can affect mobile detailing. If rain, lightning, or unsafe conditions make the appointment unrealistic, we will work with you on rescheduling or confirming the best next option.
How should I prepare my car before service?
Please remove personal items, valuables, car seats, loose belongings, and anything you do not want moved. This helps the detail go smoother and allows more time to be spent cleaning the vehicle itself.
02 Services & packages
What is included in mobile car detailing?
Mobile detailing can include interior cleaning, exterior washing, wheels and tires, glass, door jambs, surface wipe-downs, vacuuming, mats, protection, and deeper add-ons depending on the package selected.
What is included in an interior detail?
Interior detailing may include vacuuming, mats, seats, carpets, surfaces, cupholders, door panels, interior glass, pet hair attention, stain attention, odor source reduction, and leather or trim care depending on the package.
What is included in an exterior detail?
Exterior detailing may include a foam bath, paint-safe hand wash, wheels, tires, exterior glass, bug and grime removal, surface decontamination, trim or tire dressing, and wax or protection depending on the package.
Can you remove pet hair?
Yes. Pet hair can be addressed during deeper interior work. Heavy pet hair may require extra time, especially when it is embedded in carpet, cargo areas, or fabric seats.
Can you remove stains and odors?
Stain and odor improvement is available with deeper interior services. Some stains or smells may require additional treatment depending on the material, severity, and how long the issue has been sitting.
How often should I schedule maintenance?
For daily drivers, a regular maintenance schedule helps prevent buildup from getting out of hand. Monthly maintenance is a strong option if you want the vehicle to stay consistently clean without waiting for it to become a project.
03 Protection, ceramic & paint
How does ceramic coating help in Florida?
Ceramic coating adds a slick protective layer that improves gloss, water beading, and resistance to everyday contaminants. In Florida, it helps against sun exposure, rain, road grime, bugs, and easier future cleaning.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
If the paint has swirls, haze, oxidation, or visible defects, correction or enhancement may be recommended before coating. Ceramic coating protects the finish, but it does not magically remove defects underneath it.
Does exterior detailing remove scratches?
Standard exterior detailing improves cleanliness and gloss, but scratches and swirl marks usually require paint correction or paint enhancement. If scratches are a concern, mention that before booking.
What is the difference between wax and ceramic coating?
Wax or sealant gives temporary shine and protection. Ceramic coating is a longer-lasting bonded protection option with stronger water behavior, slickness, and durability when properly maintained.
Can detailing help with lovebugs, tar, and road grime?
Yes. Exterior detailing can help remove bug splatter, tar, road film, and grime. Severe baked-on contamination may need extra attention, especially when it has been sitting in the sun for a long time.
04 Location, access & payment
Do you need my water or power?
Water and electricity access are preferred and should be discussed before the appointment. If your location has limitations, mention that during booking so the appointment can be confirmed properly.
Can you come to apartments, HOAs, or gated communities?
Usually, yes, as long as there is a safe place to work and the property allows mobile services. Please confirm parking, access, gate instructions, and any property restrictions before the appointment.
What areas do you service?
Mobile Detailing of Tampa serves Tampa and nearby areas depending on schedule and travel distance. If you are outside the main area, availability or travel fees can be confirmed before the appointment.
Do ceramic coating jobs require a deposit?
Ceramic coating jobs may require a deposit because they take more planning, prep, and reserved time. Any deposit or confirmation details should be handled before the appointment is finalized.
Can the price change if the vehicle is worse than expected?
Pricing can vary if the vehicle condition requires more time or a different service level than originally selected. Heavy stains, pet hair, odor, excessive grime, or special requests should be mentioned before booking.
What if I am not sure which service to choose?
Start with the service closest to your main concern, then mention the details in your booking notes. If needed, we can help confirm whether interior, exterior, full detail, maintenance, or ceramic coating makes the most sense.
